We Started A Rebellion

Against macro-counting, portion shaming, and food media that treats eating like a punishment. We cover food the way it deserves — with excitement, curiosity, and zero guilt.

Born From A Garage Grill

In 2022, Jake Moreno was a burned-out line cook watching the world lose its mind over charcoal-activated everything and cauliflower pretending to be pizza. He had a simple question: what happened to just talking about really, really good food?

So he started writing. First on Twitter — punchy, irreverent takes on food that went viral. Then longer pieces about street food in Mexico City, the science behind the perfect burger sear, and why energy drinks are just expensive caffeine.

The audience grew fast. Turns out, millions of people were exhausted by diet culture food media. They wanted someone to tell them what was delicious, what was in it, where to find it — without the guilt. Fresqo became that voice.

Our Values

These aren't corporate pillars. They're promises we make to every article we publish.

Facts Over Fads

We drop real nutrition data, calorie counts, and food science. No pseudo-science, no wellness woo. If we cite a number, it's real.

Unapologetic Joy

Food should spark excitement, not anxiety. We celebrate eating for pleasure and refuse to frame indulgence as something to feel guilty about.

Globally Curious

The best food is everywhere. We cover street stalls in Bangkok with the same respect we give Michelin restaurants in Paris. Great food doesn't need a price tag.

Meet The Team

The reckless geniuses behind the words, the opinions, and the occasional food coma.
